On October 1st, 2022, Mr. P Thirunavukkarasu, Program Director – Work Integrated Learning Programs, Wipro Ltd. – conducted an informative and interactive career guidance session for two cohorts of Shakthi Scholars passing out of college in June 2023 & 2024 respectively. He impressed upon the students the need to be passionate about what they do, and to plan their careers for the long-term. After ascertaining their aspirations, Mr Thirunavukkarasu suggested a broad approach across a variety of areas including Accounts, Biotech and Engineering, to land dream jobs. Sharing his personal experiences, he cautioned the students not to fall into the trap of peer pressure, and instead, choose  streams and jobs in line with personal preference and capability while factoring in market reality.  The Shakti Scholars, who participated enthusiastically in the session, found it an eye-opener!
