In an era where professional excellence is as much about inner resilience as it is about technical expertise, the Champion Woman initiative recently brought its transformative “POWER Series” to the industrial heart of Coimbatore.
The intensive program, conducted at Stanes, saw 70 dedicated women employees from seven group offices including the Mettupalayam Tea Estate, Bi-Metal Bearings, and the Research Institute – gathered to redefine their professional and personal boundaries. The atmosphere was electric as participants transitioned from the exhausting mindset of “doing it all” to the empowered state of “doing it well“.
Strategic Communication and Leadership

The programme was officially inaugurated by Vice Chairman Kalyani and Finance Head Manjula of the Stanes Group. Facilitated by expert trainers Lakshmi Subramanian and Jayanthi Sundararaman, the session went beyond traditional corporate training, placing a deep emphasis on self-confidence, expressive communication, emotional mindfulness, and leadership presence.
Through interactive workplace scenarios and practical discussions, participants were guided on navigating professional challenges with greater clarity, confidence, and assertiveness, while also learning the importance of healthy workplace boundaries.
Building a Future of Confidence

The session concluded with “Dissolving the Negative,” a reflective activity that encouraged participants to overcome self-doubt and embrace greater confidence and self-belief.
The Stanes Power Series was more than a workshop; it was an investment in the collective voice of the workforce. By strengthening inner confidence and communication, the program ensured that these 70 women returned to their offices not just as employees, but as empowered contributors ready to lead with belief.
